I just read your recipe page where you asked if anyone had experience with morels and microwave cooking.
My stove/oven was broken recently, and couldn't be used until some parts came in. So I was forced to use the microwave for lots of stuff I wouldn't otherwise do - and with trial-and-error I found a delicious way to prepare dried morels (it's wintertime so I have no fresh ones to experiment with):
Reconstitute the dried morels as you would normally do, however discard the water afterwards.
Pat the morels dry.
Melt butter in a microwavable dish, and when melted add the morels and toss lightly to coat them with the melted butter.
Salt lightly and return to microwave; microwave them on high for about a minute.
Toss them around again and microwave for another 2 minutes.
Then pour heavy cream over them, and microwave for another 2 minutes (equals 5 minutes total cooking time).
They really are delicious!!! Believe it or not - this works!!
