Location (in western MT) to be Announced; No hotel. You'll need Camping gear
and/or RV. Free to all WMMA members, non-members $12 by May 15,2004. Must take
personal responsibility for required permits.
Participants will also receive the annual WMMA Morel Report 2004.

Glacier Institute Class "Spring Mushroom
Extravaganza" with Larry and the Glacier Institute staff.
Two nights and 2 days of mushroom hunting, identification practice using keys
from several books, and evening slide shows. We incorporate edible fungi from
the days' finds into our evening meal and sample tastings. Usual finds include

Glacier Institute Class "Fall Mushroom Roundup"
Two very different days and nights in the fall. These are separate classes,
as the species found in the fall are so different from those encountered
in the spring class. Both classes can earn you a credit-hour at the UM.

Big Creek Outdoor Education Center is some 18 miles north of Columbia Falls
on the North Fork of the Flathead River. Some rare surviving patches of old
growth, regrowth conifers, and riparian areas provide us with unique habitat
for hunting. Many unusual species are found at this class. UM credit course

May 27, 2001: Join us for the 10th annual Garden City Nursery (formerly Garden City Seeds, Inc.) Morel Hunt. Memorial Weekend Morel Hunt![]()
The second year of our Morel Outing, which sprang from our annual Early Bird Morel Hunt. Last year some 25 folks picked at least 30 or 40# of morels, which we fried, stuffed, breaded, sautéed and devoured in a variety of dishes. This is a multi-day affair; see Glen's message in spring 20001 newsletter
May 5, 2001: 9am :C of C Park, Libby Kootenai Valley Mycological Society hosts the Spokane Mushroom Club for a burnsite morel hunt. All WMMA members are encouraged to attend. Call Dick or Joanne at 293-5360 or Steve Scott 295-1117 for details.
